Have any of you thought about reinventing yourself? Getting in touch with your true passion? If you could do anything what would it be?
I, after some thought would be a store owner up cycled, retro, vintage and craft things. I like when people see things that remind them of their past and of happy times.
My dad owned a store for so many years and we as his children were never given the option to have a business like that. We were told you need to go to school, after a while that's all I thought I could do was go to school. I never did go to college, I had my first child when I was 19 and then 4 more children later I lost sight of myself, my dreams and goals.
So many of us get caught up in the day to day we forget to make memories, smile, laugh make connections with old friends. I want that in my life. I want to see people be happy I want to help people create crafts, help people find that one piece to a china set their grandmother gave them. I want my children to see what passion is and to discover their own. I have started this to some degree with my online shops and now just need to grow the seeds I have planted. Check them out... www.projectrandom.etsy.com and www.projectstockpile.etsy.com.
I will have to work hard, make sacrifices but it will all be worth it. I want to be in control of my future for what I want, not what society thinks I should be doing.
I hope you all have a wonderful day.
Whats for dinner? we will be having chicken alfredo.

Chubby Girls
I think most of you all know by now I purchase older patterns and sell them. It is fun and neat to see all the older styles of clothes. I came across one that made me a little upset to be honest, take a look.
Can you see what the fine print says???? (not suitable for chubby girls) WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!
First its a tent dress people, what a better way for a chubby girl to cover up. This company would so not be able to get away with this kind of thing today, I guess in 1967 you could get away with this. When I mentioned it to my sister she was shocked and said you have to blog about it, so here I am.
Whats for dinner? We are having turkey tenderloin, rice and vegies.

Doll Speak
That same doll sits on your bed everyday waiting for you to come home from school to hear about your day. You can love them, squeeze them, kiss them and in some cases pinch them if you must!

A home
Guess who has a home.....
Yes the broken sister she will be making her green line to Asheville NC. I think she will be very much appreciated there.
I posted these cameras in my Etsy shop today.
It always amazes me how far we have come and where we started. I wonder where these will end up, how they will be used, we shall see.

Great weekend with the hubby! Picked up alot of really fantastic items to post on Etsy, here is a sneak peak.
Its a pelican cookie jar, I think its so cute.
We also were able to take the time to really look at cameras and found one that meets our needs, so we can take pics like this.

Broken sister
Just added this Seahorse to the shop today. Some might say she is ugly, I think she is a unique piece of art myself. I found her(I make everything a girl) in my yard sale travels. She had a sister who unfortunately was broken when I bought her, I tried to fix her but it didn't work. Alas someone will see the beauty in her as I do, purchase her and hang her proudly on their wall.
